"I came to the UK in March of 2004 working as a waiter in Thai Restaurants in the South East. I saw an opportunity to fulfil my dream of owning and running my own Thai Restaurant and providing my customers with the chance to sample the best flavours of my homeland. To this end, I opened Rama Thai Restaurant in Rugby, opening October 2018.

Our philosophy is simple, that is to serve high quality Thai food within a unique and stylish far eastern atmosphere and offer high standards of service. Every dish is free from preservatives and only the freshest ingredients are selected to be prepared by our highly experienced Thai chef

When you walk into Rama for the first time, you will discover an oriental "oasis" with sumptuous surroundings that carefully blend enchanting Thai carvings with colourful artefacts and a profusion of tropical plants, together with luxurious hand-carved teak furniture, silver cutlery, fine glass and china dinnerware.
We are proud to serve a vast array of wonderful, authentic dishes from all over Thailand. All of our food is meticulously prepared using traditional Thai ingredients and fresh produce - all served by courteous and enthusiastic Thai staff who, dressed in traditional silk, are always pleased to serve you in the true traditions of Thai culture.

Open six day of the week, we offer a magnificent Meze Lunch from Tuesday to Sunday.
During the evenings we provide an extensive A La Carte Menu including a wonderful selection of exquisite dishes, such as our magnificent banquets, succulent river prawns, a wide choice of vegetarian meals and tempting home-cooked desserts.
We are fully licensed to serve drinks too.
